The Flash Flood in
Kobe: The
following is a short video about the recent flash
flood in Kobe-Japan in July 28, 2008. The water level
raised up 1.3m in just less than 10 minutes. The time of
the event can be seen on the top of the video. Total
rainfall in this area was reported 38mm for 2 hours. Four
people were killed in 100m downstream of this scene. They
were inside of the river under the bridge in order to
keep away from torrential
rain.
